CASZUIDAS URBAN SCREEN FESTIVAL AWARD

The 1st CASZUIDAS Urban Screen Festival Award of Virtueel Museum Zuidas has been granted to the German artist Andreas Templin for "as if to nothing" and to the British artist duo John Wood & Paul Harrison for "Shelf". The jury, headed up by SKOR director Fulya Erdemci, intentionally named not one, but two artworks as winners in order to emphasize the scope and possibilities for presenting artworks on an urban screen.

Themroc at Venice Biennale

The collaborative work on the movie "Themroc" by Andreas Templin and Ingken Wagner is currently exhibited at the Venice Biennale. It features the 1973 movie by Claude Faraldo and is on view till 19.07.2009 at Arsenale Novissimo in collaboration with the oneminutes-foundation.

Themroc at Art Amsterdam

The collaborative project "Themroc" by Andreas Templin and Ingken Wagner is currently on view at Art Amsterdam. It features the 1973 movie by Claude Faraldo and is on view at the booth of the oneminutes-foundation 13th till 17th of May as a part of Tijdelijk Museum Amsterdam.

International Media Art Biennale WRO 09

Andreas Templin is participating with his work 'as if to nothing' in the International Media Art Biennale WRO. The work is exhibited as an installation. The Biennale opens on 4th of May and is on view till 10.05.

European Media Art Festival 2009

Andreas Templin's "as if to nothing" was exhibited at this year´s edition of the European Media Art Festival Osnabrueck/Germany. The festival was on view 22nd till 26th of April 2009.

700IS Reindeerland, Iceland

Andreas Templin's momentarily touring video-installation "as if to nothing" is on view 21st till 28th of March in the exhibition 700 IS Reindeerland. The exhibition is located in Egilstadir's Cultural Center.

"as if to nothing", Zendai-Museum of Modern Art Shanghai "Intrude: Art & Life 366"

Andreas Templin's videoartwork "as if to nothing" was exhibited in Shanghai's Zendai-MoMA's serie "Intrude: Art& Life 366". Next to a public screening in the inner-city of Shanghai on December 16th (pictures to follow) the artwork will also be own view at different screens in public space of Shanghai till the end of the year.
